I spent the previous decade on the advertising side of the creative industry, working as a planner and brand strategist with focus on finding the sweet spot between business targets and entertaining communication that makes people care. The last couple of years I’ve worked at Bold’s sister agency in the NoA Network, Åkestam Holst. I will continue to keep an engagement there, working interdisciplinary between Bold and Åkestam Holst with a holistic perspective on joint clients. This new, agency-bridging role rings true to how I see the best work is getting done; when businesses build distinct, true and unified brands from the inside out, from company culture to brand campaigns.
Brand identity and design is in many ways the core and binder in that process, what keeps brand image together. Succeeding with this will of course become more and more important for brands as the world become increasingly hyper-visual and hyper-branded. Bold is a perfect place in the NoA universe to pursue this integrated approach, with all the talent and craftsmanship this place holds. My experience comes from working with global brands, local brands, small brands, niche brands, B2B, public sector – I’ve done it all. I’ve also had the pleasure of working with some of the best and nicest creatives, strategists and people in the industry, and I humbly like to think that over the years I’ve managed to rub some of their capacity onto me. As Strategy director at Bold I will try my best to pay it forward, to my new colleagues and clients.
